Sunday at The HAMMER: Songwriting with Kate Micucci of Garfunkel and Oates

Singer/songwriter/actress Kate Micucci is half of the comedy band Garfunkel and Oates. She can be found around town building sand castles and playing her ukelele: she has a monthly show at the Steve Allen Theater, and her original songs can be heard on the TV series Scrubs. With Kate, students will write songs as quirky and charming as themselves.

The Hammer's collaborative writing workshop, presented with 826LA, is designed for groups of up to 20 students, ages 8-13. Reservations are encouraged and can be made by emailing workshops@826la.org or calling 310-305-8418. Walk-ins welcome.

Admission is FREE. Parking is available under the museum for $3 for 3 hours.
