Ollin has been the best punk rock pachuco band for over a decade and there is no one more fitting to cover The Pogues most amazing record groove for groove. One St.Patrick's Day many years ago I got to experience this party first hand at a beer and tamale cafe in East L.A. and it was the swinging, dancing, drunken sing-a-long you would expect. Love, leprechauns, and revolution will be in the air again this Tuesday as Ollin carries on the tradition at Spaceland. At least there's someplace in this dirty old town to have a green tequila.
